Testing & Improvement Lab Logs

LOG #2025-08-05warning

Encoder Noise at Low RPM

PROBLEM:At very low rotation speeds, contact bounce on the encoder produced spurious extra counts.
TEST:Compared raw pulse counts against a known reference rotation speed across a range of RPMs.
ENGINEERING CHANGE:Added a software debounce window in the polling loop to ignore edges faster than physically possible at the test RPM range.
✓ RESULT: Count accuracy matched the reference rotation to within 1 pulse across all tested speeds.
